Peter Bogdanovich, Oscar-nominated filmmaker and a pioneer of the âNew Hollywoodâ age, has died. The âPaper Moonâ director passed away on Thursday morning at his home in Los Angeles from natural causes. He was 82. His daughter, Antonia Bogdanovich, confirmed his death to the Hollywood Reporter. Bogdanovich was one of the major filmmakers to come out of the American New Wave cinematic age in the 1960s and â70s.
