Rogers users in Canada woke up to a mass service outage that impacted cellular and internet services, with people left frustrated and employees still working from home scrambling to find WiFi. In a statement sent to Global News, a spokesperson for Rogers Communications the outage is affecting both the “wireline and wireless networks.” “Our technical teams are working hard to restore services as quickly as possible,” the spokesperson said. The outage is also reportedly impacting ATMs and Interac machines across the country, according to reports on social media. As a result, coffee shops with working WiFi saw a flood of internet-hungry customers flood their businesses.
