LIVE: Platinum Jubilee celebrations 2022 - Buckingham Palace

View of Buckingham Palace ahead of the celebrations as The Queen becomes the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service. Trooping of the colour will then take place at 11am, attended by Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie. We are told “the 1st Battalion, Irish Guards, and more than 1,200 officers and soldiers from the Household Division will put on a display of military pageantry on Horse Guards Parade, together with hundreds of Army musicians and around 240 horses.” A royal gun salute will be fired. Once that’s over the royal family’s balcony appearance will take place, followed by a flypast.
