Mike Mora, Kelis' Husband, Dies At 37 After Cancer Battle

Milkshake singer confirmed Mora"s death on Tuesday. After a tough two-year battle with cancer, we are devastated to have to confirm the loss of our beloved brother Mike, the statement read in part. Mora announced his cancer diagnosis on Instagram in September last year, revealing he went to the doctor in September 2020 after experiencing the worst pain in his stomach. After undergoing several exams, the photographer learned he had Stage 4 stomach cancer and it had spread to the lymph nodes on his back.
