Hillsong second emergency staff meeting 23 March 2022 - Brian Houston fired!

Hillsong held an emergency all-staff meeting today â€" the second within the space of a week, to announce the resignation/sacking of Global Pastor Brian Houston from his role after explosive revelations about his conduct and the subsequent Board cover-up. Interim Global Senior Pastor (although the title "Interim" may shortly change) Phil Dooley was given the melancholy task and it is increasingly apparent he doesn"t want to be there. In last Sunday"s sermon he opined he"d rather be surfing. He should take his own advice.
