We’re all free. Run for your lives,” one person joked on Twitter. “Is Slack down or did I get fired,” wrote another. Given how many people are still working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, long-term Slack outages could wreak havoc in offices that forgot how to email or make phone calls. Platforms including AWS and Github were also facing issues for users.
