WCNC Charlotte 6pm webcast: Latest on winter weather - Jan. 15, 2022

Rain, sleet and snow accumulation are expected to hit the Carolinas beginning late Saturday night and throughout Sunday. Saturday will see continued cloud coverage with chilly temperatures. Snow and wintry mix is expected Sunday, with residual ice possibly causing some power outages on Monday. Winter Storm Warnings and Ice Storm Warnings are in effect Saturday because of hazardous conditions expected from a winter storm through Monday morning.
