Shelter Dog Wears Pearls in Honor of Betty White’s 100 Birthday

Betty White would have turned 100 on Jan. 17 and while she didn’t quite make it to her milestone birthday, many are celebrating her in a way that she would have loved. Shelters dressed up adoptable dogs and even named some of them Betty as fans on social media encouraged others to take part in the Betty White Challenge by adopting an animal or donating to a local animal shelter in memory of the beloved Golden Girl, who had a passion for animal welfare.
