Blizzard and Winter Storm Warnings Issued ahead of monster storm

Winter storm warnings have been issued for parts of the area - and blizzard warnings for some coastal communities in New Jersey - through Saturday evening ahead of an approaching nor"easter. A fresh injection of cold air is arriving ahead of the storm on Friday. A few snow showers during the day could leave a coating to an inch in some spots. The storm will develop near eastern North Carolina, and then rapidly intensify while it moves northward along or just off the East Coast into Saturday.
