I will ask her about the reports that Clemson Defensive Coordinator, Brent Venables, will likely be the next Head Coach at Oklahoma. According to reports, Venables will replace Lincoln Riley, who left to be the Head Coach at USC. I will also ask her about former Clemson running back, Lyn-J Dixon, who recently announced his intent to transfer to West Virginia. Brent Venables has been mentioned for Head Coaching vacancies nearly every offseason for the past few years. He has reportedly turned down several offers, and even recently got a contract extension with Clemson to be their DC through 2026. Today, (November 29, 2021) however, less than 24 hours after it was revealed that Lincoln Riley was leaving Oklahoma, reports surfaced connecting Venables to the Oklahoma job. Some reports also stated that several Clemson players were planning to transfer to Oklahoma to play for Venables; one of them being Quarteback, D.J. Uiagalelei. I will ask Ms. Cubit about these reports. Former Clemson Senior Running Back, Lyn-J Dixon, entered the transfer portal early in the season amidst reports that he was not getting along with new Running Backs Coach, C.J. Spiller. On Thanksgiving Day (November 25, 2021), Dixon posted on his Twitter account that he was committed to West Virginia University.
